Part two of an eight hour course. This is the logical next step after the CCW certification course. Development of the draw, basic marksmanship, gun handling and range safety, followed by movement, cover vs concealment, malfunction drills, reloads, and 0-25 meter shooting. Trainees will need a semi-automatic handgun, two magazines and suitable holster, plus up to 250 rounds of FMJ ammunition, as well as eye and ear protection. Trainees will take a Wisconsin DOJ practical handgun shooting test and receive a certificate. $200/student
I've had success in teaching the eight hour class in two-hour sections over several weeks. It allows students to practice an absorb material each week and makes for a better trained student. Because life happens, I also scheduled an eight hour block on May 19 for students who miss a section to make up that time.
Cost per section is $50 per person, and each section will require at least 50 rounds of FMJ practice ammo.
